The voices of Jubilation – Singing Gospel Christmas for Ray Charles
This gospel choir has arrived from Canada, which was the last choir to record with Ray Charles, the legend of Jazz. The performance of The Voices of Jubilation celebrate the memory of this genius of soul, rhythm & blues and jazz, together with other gospel classics like Hark the herald angels sing, The first Noel and The little drummer boy. Sixteen members led by reverend Stef, who consider gospel music an enlightenment.
Jubilation Gospel Choir is a group from Montreal. Formed in 1982, its ample registry covers both traditional and contemporary gospel. Winners of the 2010 Grammy Award for his compilation album Oh Happy Day with Queen Latifah, maintain the highest since its inception that “gospel music should not be considered as entertainment, but as a lighting”
This time the repertoire consists of classic themes such as Hark the herald angels sing, The First Noel and The little drummer boy, in addition to celebrating the memory of the legendary singer, saxophonist and pianist Ray Charles. The training was the last Canadian to record with l’esmentada legend of soul, the rhythm & blues and jazz. The artistic director of this choir was sixteen components by the Rev. Stefanie Minatee, better known as Rev. Stef.
